Definition:

Subjective: Increased width of the midpoint of the mandible (mental protuberance) and overlying soft tissue

Comments:

Micrognathia is a term that represents reduction in size of both length and width of the chin. By contrast, increases in chin size are coded separately as Tall chin and Broad chin.
