Definition:

Subjective: Prominence of the malar (frontal) process of the maxilla and infraorbital area, appreciated in profile and from in front of the face

Comments:

The malar process is the most medial and superior portion of the maxilla, contiguous with the lateral boundary of the nasal bridge.
