Definition:

Subjective: Flattening instead of curving or rounded superior helix, allowing the superior helix to run more horizontally than usual

Comments:

This is not to be confused with Lop ear or Satyr ear and may represent an underdevelopment of the upper third of the pinna. This is usually associated with a short ascending helix.
