Definition:

Subjective: Splaying of F2-4 along the A/P axis (in the plane of the palm) with relatively normal positioning of F1 and F5

Comments:

This term is a subtype of splaying of the digits, but its diagnostic utility warrants a separate definition. Note is made that there were a number of different definitions of this term among the terminology group members. However, this definition was the consensus.
